We Need Saints!

We need saints who live naturally supernatural; saints without cassocks, without veils, without sutana  & paraphernalia; saints with jeans & tennis shoes; saints that go to the movies, that listen to music, that hang out with their friends; saints that place God in first place ahead of succeeding in any career. We need saints that love the Word, and the Gospel of God & find time to pray every day; saints who know how to be in love with purity, chastity and all things pertaining to life and godliness.

We need saints – saints for the 21st century with a spirituality, appropriate to our new time; saints that have commitment to helping the poor and to make the needed social change; saints prepared to live in the world, to sanctify the world, and not afraid of living in the world by their presence; saints who drink pure-water, who eat hot dogs, who surf the internet, who listen to their iPod.

We need saints that love the Lord Jesus, that are not afraid or embarrassed to eat pizza or drink ginger beer with their friends; saints who love movies, dancing, sports, theater; saints that are open, sociable, happy, normal, companions; who are in this world and who know how to enjoy the world without being callous or mundane.

Yes, yes; we need saints. If your mind & heart are in sync, as the Redeemed of the Lord, say so: broadcast it abroad!!! Amen. In Jesus Mighty Name!!

Revised Edition of the controversial statement said to be made by Pope Francis, written by Milton Job (MBE).

PS: There is no official trace of the said statement made by Pope Francis on the World youths Day (2013). Yet the statement was widely publicized.

This i believe sounds better than the false one being publicized and peddled!!
